To view the contents of multiple folders, click on the arrow to the left of each folder icon within the Folder Pane. We call this the Easy-select bar/arrow. As you click each square or arrow, the thumbnails from that folder are added to the File List and displayed. There is also an Easy-select bar in the Organize pane, which means that you can display thumbnails by ratings or by category. To remove pictures from a specific folder, or rating, or category, deselect it by clicking on the square or arrow.

In more recent versions of ACDSee, we added the Image Well in the Organize pane. When you click the Image Well, the thumbnails of ALL the pictures on your computer are displayed. This can take a while if you have a lot of pictures.
