Please try the following to uninstall Photo Editor 2008:
For Windows XP:
1.From Control panel | Add or Remove Programs, uninstall ACDsee Photo Editor 2008
2.Delete "2008" folder in user profile's folder with the steps below
- Go to the Start Menu and select Run
- Type in %appdata% and Click OK
- Double-click ACD Systems (folder)
- Double-click ACDSeePhotoEditor (folder)
- Delete 2008 (folder)
3.Delete "C:\Program Files\ACD Systems\ACDSeePhotoEditor\2008" folder if that folder still exists
4.Reinstall the program with your license code, or trial license code

For Windows Vista or Windows 7
1. From Control Panel |Programs and Features, uninstall ACDsee Photo Editor 2008
2. Delete "2008" folder in user profile's folder with the steps below
- Go to the Start button, in the "Start Search" field, type Run
- Type in %appdata% and Click OK
- Double-click ACD Systems (folder)
- Double-click ACDSeePhotoEditor (folder)
- Delete 2008 (folder)
3. Delete "C:\Program Files\ACD Systems\ACDSeePhotoEditor\2008" folder if that folder still exists
4. Reinstall the program with your license code, or trial license code
